Corporate Social Responsibility

Seeds of Change was started in 2013 originally for teaching Crafts and Sewing to the migrant population in Phuket, in hopes of giving them the skillset to improve their and their families lives. Since then, they have introduced  a training program in crafts and sewing to certify St Euphrasia Banya Literacy Centre students along with people from the local community.

They reuse and re-purpose fabrics, trims, beads, and other craft items which have been donated, to ensure each product is sustainable, upcycled, and unique. Their focus is “Eco Chic & Unique.”

Seeds of Change has recently formed a relationship with a community project in Phattalung where they hand make Kajood bags and hats. Seeds of Change purchases them and repurposes each one to make it as unique as they are.

All of the items that Seeds of Change offers are handmade or re-purposed in Phuket by students and people from the local community, using the creative skills that they have learned while training with Seeds of Change.

Proceeds from purchases help to empower the students, locals, and will give them the opportunities that they may not have had otherwise.

Novotel Phuket Kata Avista Resort & Spa is proud to have formed a partnership with Seeds of Change, with a Seeds of Change shopping outlet located directly across from the resort’s main pool, where amazing handmade items can be purchased.

Stop by the Seeds of Change shop today and help support the people of Phuket and the ones that truly need it the most.
